Come embody Resilience with Cumbe! Join us and whine your hips to the infectious rhythms of the Caribbean. Afro-Soca blends traditional African movement with Caribbean dance shaped through Carnival culture — rooted in the traditions of the African Diaspora and expressed through contemporary Soca music. Explore rhythmic footwork, waist movement, and the celebratory energy of fetes across the islands and beyond. Led by teaching artist Shakira 'Kira Divine,' this all-levels class is open to every dancer.
