Honoring Haiti’s Heroines and Female Divinities

This dance workshop series is dedicated to honoring and celebrating Women's History Month by highlighting a historical figure in Haitian history and female lwa through movement and dance.

Throughout this series participants will discover and learn traditional dance styles that celebrate the strength, pride and beauty of Haitian women and the powerful female spirits at the heart of Haitian culture.
